Thiamine patches? Huh?

Today I was made aware thiamine is sold in patch-form.
Anyone experienced with these? Can't tell if the companies seem serious or not, and I've no idea what problems might be related to a patch delivery system. Kind of interesting though, if it beats the bioavailability of oral HCL. A weird thing is no company seems to provide info on the kind of B1 in the patches.

You need a liposoluble form to assimilate vitamin by the skin. Benfotiamine for example.
Make a search with: benfotiamine transdermal.
