FMT - A New Frontier in Digestive Health
-
I've seen a number of posts on here asking about various digestive/excretive issues. These posts and the replies usually focus on antibiotics and various ways of repressing bad gut bacteria, which can be helpful, but there's much less focus on promoting good gut bacteria and more generally a healthy gut microbiome. FMT is perhaps the radical probiotic treatment currently being researched/practice, and I was curious as to this forum's thoughts and any testimonials as to its efficacy. I think it has lots of potential beyond treating chronic Clostridium infections.

@NoFapPeating Interstingly, the microbiome can also be positively modulated by eating only pectin as soluble fiber:

https://sci-hub.se/https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30670576/And raw carrots is one of the food where almost all soluble fibers are pectin (96.2%).
There is a typo in this screenshot, raw, peeled means Carrots raw, peeled:

So a no fiber diet + carrot (maybe rice, lettuce and apples may also be okay) to replicate the microbiome-changing effects of those 2 studies above.

I think FMT is a good option for gut treatment. It already has dozens of studies showing improvements of digestive diseases including Crohn’s.
Here is one of them:
