(Nicotinamide ribose) and aspirin orally causing weight gain?

I’ve been taking aspirin and Nicotinamide and have noticed weight gain. Saw a thread where Haidut said he gains weight cause of aspirin and Nicotinamide. At the same time however i saw a post saying niacinamide helps with weight loss. Any thoughts? Also niacinamide gave me some acne very minor though. Maybe it was my dosage.
