When is it not Safe to take Baking soda?

My diet includes lots of calcium, about 4g on average from 2-3L of skim milk and some egg shell powder, + ice cream before bed sometimes. I understand taking baking soda with milk can cause milk-alkali syndrome, I accidentally had bad symptoms mixing without realizing it can happen. Would it be safe to take bakingsoda before bed? I drink most of my milk from morning until 4pm, and go to bed around 10pm. Is the issue mostly with calcium in general, or bc milk and BS are alkaline. I wanted to take BS to see if it stops my Nocturia again.
