My (Male) Experience of High Dose Progesterone

As an early-twenties male I started taking oral progesterone powder to help severe depression. Overall it has been positive. My mood and cognition has permanently improved. Long-term memories have come back sharper than they were before. My face is more healthy-looking and attractive.
I did get knocked out a few times at higher doses.
The dose was ramped up until I felt an effect. At seven grams dosing there was still no effect felt and I decided not to go higher. This first week it felt like my brain was healing. Then as my body got more sensitive to it, I had an episode of severe sedation and could have fallen and gotten injured but luckily I survived.
So I continued lowering the dose over the months, occasionally taking DHEA for androgen balance, had another episode of extreme sedation (these come out of the blue), etc.
No feminizing effects for me, no change in facial hair growth. It noticably made my face appear healthier and more attractive. I am no longer sensitive to bright lights.
There was a thinning and lightening of p*bic hair and armpit hair. One time I abruptly stopped for a week and my d**k shrank until resuming.
I realized it was starting to make me chronically disinhibited and more confident and more outgoing but it was as if I was drunk all the time. At this point I switched to low dose topical CortiNon and Progestene usage. This has been great and my p*bic hair is back to normal.
The oral progesterone was taken alongside milk which I believe has a protective effect on the gut against potential impurities like residual solvents.
It did not resolve apathy and anhedonia.

Interesting. I also upped my dose and have been having a similiar experience.
I wonder why your dick shrank when you took a break? Did it return to normal?

@nicemushroom17 The shrinking usually happens for a day or so if one takes too much progest e dont ask me how I know that

@basebolt Do you just take progesterone and DHEA?

@nicemushroom17 yes. According to haidut progesterone could interfere with natural dhea spikes or something so it's good to take them both. He has also said for dhea the proper dose is one to two milligrams, if I'm remembering correctly, otherwise could shutdown natural production.

@nicemushroom17 No the high dose was making me chronicly drunk. I switched to a few milligrams prog. topically. With 0.5 to 1 mg dhea topically, sometimes orally or sublingual too. Using idealabs CortiNon and Progestene.

I used to be attracted to smaller tits. Or more like a slight aversion or neutrality to normal and big ones, thereby leaving only small ones to do anything for me.
After taking progesterone I'm attracted to normal and big, but not huge, breasts. A slight aversion to smaller ones now.
So weird.
I've heard females say that after coming off birth control they were no longer attracted to their partner. So the fact that this happened to me isn't that far-fetched. Hormones impact these things.
Anyone else experience sexual attraction change?

@basebolt Neat! I'm already attracted to bigger breasts so I'm curious to see if I experience any changes in that regards.
Gonna take some more high doses starting tomorrow through the weekend but I had a much better experience take high dose progest e last week vs low dose I had tried before.
Things I noticed: Overall looked much pretty boy esque, hair color looked vibrant, skin smoother, and my eyelashes seemed the most obviously darker and looked really good. One of my eyes was kinda of irritated because of how much my eyelashes seemed to be growing.
No noticeable changes in penis while taking if anything maybe slightly fuller, however these past few days I haven't been taking and I swear it's bigger than before. At least fuller.
So opposite to you but haven't experimented enough to make any conclusions.

@nicemushroom17 It also seems to be helpful with histamine problems so I'm excited about that!
I wonder what the ideal stack for men who want that high progesteron/high T rugged pretty boy profile.
