Good evening. Hope yall are doing well. Over the past few months, my health has declined. There are many smart people on this forum, and I was hoping that yall could help me to start moving into the right direction. Here are a few symptoms that I have experienced:

Eye issues: eyesight quality randomly drops - trouble focusing on a singular object, prone to zoning out. Eyelids also feel heavy, this happens much more frequently.

Mental issues: often time my mind feels slow, not as quick-witted as before. In conversation, i find it difficult sometimes to process information, come up with responses. My mathematic and creative abilities have seemed to take a slight hit as well. Very unusual for me. Brain fog?

Fatigue: very tired often. Sleep doesn’t do much to combat this - the difference between 3 hours vs 8 hours is negligible. Some days are worse than others.

Skin: hands occasionally look purplish, cold. Didn’t tan as well this summer, despite spending equal or more time outside.

Congestion: I feel very congested at times (ears clogged, nasally tone). Fluctuates from day-to-day.

Coffee intolerance: caffeine makes me extremely tired. Very strange. If I consume enough, I still get some symptoms of high caffeine intake (hands slightly shaking, a little jumpy) but minus the energy.

Appetite fluctuation: there are times where i dont feel the need to eat for hours. A few occasions ive felt hungry, eaten a food bites of food, and would immediately lose my appetite.

Alcohol intolerance?: drinking 1-2 drinks leads be to become extremely fatigued and intoxicated. Before this started, it’d usually take 5-6 drinks to become buzzed.

Sexual health: decreased during these months. Morning erections do not occur every morning either.

      A few vitals:
Young male (21). Active (tennis, basketball, weights). Consistent social interaction, stimulating work. Before this, no previous health issues

Diet: fruit / milk heavy, relatively healthy, no medications, few supplements (baby aspirin, vitamin k, thiamine + b complex)

My thought is that it could be thyroid related. Need to get bloodwork and testing panels completed, I assume.

I appreciate any help that is provided. Thank you frens!

Yes, at first side. But it could be not the only cause too. Don't trust the blood test if you're in the down-side of the curve. Trust your feeling.

        • optimize liver function; so no alcohol or at least rarely.
        • If you have Hg intoxication, you can't recover (enzyme blocked). (mercury). Need energy to follow a detox. With a protocol and staples.
        • You said: "Diet: fruit / milk heavy, relatively healthy". => I won't say it so.
Healthy means variety and according to our genes and abilities.
No problem with milk for most people but when I read one liter milk (2 lbs), you have a problem: lack of enzymes to assimilate this amount.
Fruit drink (orange) + fruit sugar is putting overload on the liver (fructose). After the breakfast, this sugar is converted into fat.
I don't say to decrease fruit and milk but to balance / choose the right amount if you want to optimize the microbiome.
Last I'd eat white fish (no predator) to get iodine and lithium. 2x/wk.
Need selenium before: 100 mcg when not eating meat. Se is also required to neutralize Cl Br Fl (halogens), to occupy the right place on thyroid.
Some trace elements are required to optimize thyroid functions and optimal probiotics.
Finally, when choosing a kind of diet, remind this (excerpt):
Trace elements significantly impact gut microbiota composition and function, affecting host health. These elements, both essential and potentially toxic, can alter microbial diversity, metabolic activity, and interactions with the host. Conversely, the gut microbiota plays a crucial role in regulating trace element bioavailability and homeostasis within the body.
Edit: After taking antibiotics, we need to occupy the place, not to let the strongest / the most able to hide behind a biofilm come back and lead / conduct the maneuver (sensing capacity).

This may sound too easy and too “unscientific”
          But
With what little data we have
A great place to start is….

You need to eat more foods
          Drink less liquids

          Addendum:
Body temperature is a great objective measurement

The further society drifts from the truth the more it will hate those who speak it.
