@LetTheRedeemed, not cytomel, but if you continue to have trouble sourcing it, there’s Tyronene from IdeaLabs that you could try if you haven’t already done so:

          https://idealabs.ecwid.com/Tyronene-p70230387

I have no experience with Tyronene, but my parents and I used IdeaLabs’ synthetic T4/T3 TyroMix and my mum had the same reaction (heart palpitations and migraines) to it that she had with the T3 her GP prescribed her so it seems to be just as potent.

@Jennifer thanks for that. And thanks for the reminder — I may have to use idealabs again

@Jennifer thanks but idelabs Tyronene doesn't seem to work for me anymore. I should try it again though...

I’m sorry to hear that, @Mauritio. I experienced the same thing with TyroMix. I initially found it to be potent but after a tragic event turned my world upside down, it stopped working for me. I came across a quote where Ray said he didn’t think that T3 was stable in alcohol so I questioned if the ethanol in TyroMix caused it to lose potency over time, but I convinced my doctor to prescribe me the NDT that had resolved my symptoms and maintained my TSH below 0.4 for years prior and it too had no effect on me. It took overhauling my diet before I started responding to thyroid again.

I recently (Oct) ordered cynomel and cynoplus from meds.com.mx
Arrived in about a week. I'm in the US. I have used them for a long time. It always works fine although delivery can be longer than that.

@Jennifer interesting. For me it stoped working after 2 weeks of fungal exposure .

Btw Tyronene or idealabs thyroid products definitely loose potency over time . I noticed that.

Ill try some NDT and T2 next.

                                  Dare to think.

Interesting, @Mauritio. That’s good to know about Tyronene. Have you tried TyroMax? I’ve had bottles of it for up to two months and it has never lost potency. I have my dad on it, since it’s the only standardized NDT I can get without a prescription and the only over-the-counter glandular that I find works. I’ve compared it to my prescription NDTs (WP Thyroid and Armour) and it’s just as effective.

@Jennifer do you take tyromax internally or topically?

@LetTheRedeemed, we take it orally. The gland particles don’t dissolve well into the skin and we would need to dose it (and TyroMix) higher to get the same amount taken orally, which becomes quite expensive. Ray said that MCT can be irritating to the intestines, but we’ve never had an issue with it.

@Jennifer It irritated me... I may try it again. I wonder if you take it with coconut oil it may dilute it's potency...

I haven't tried tyromax. But might try it soon !
The Tyronene lost potency only after a year or so. Before that it wasn't noticable much.
