Wow seems like an unethical use of blocking when there was no abuse or meanness — totally stopping moving forward scientific inquiry and development... I had thoughtful criticism of glucose loading and now she’s even given up on it.

@happyhanneke idk if this reply was for me, but when I was a kid our goats were fine. My dad's nanny goat did fine, except that constant mating attempts by the billy goat caused an udder injury that led to mastitis. Check out rotational grazer's experience with sheep -- it's led to drastic reductions in infections and parasites. But yes, due to them eating strait to the root, they are more likely to get parasites and bacteria -- rotational grazing mitigates this by keeping them in clean pasture away from their poop
