I'm not fully committed, but wanted to share my idea. The thymoquinone in black cumin seed, has been found to be one of the most broadly potent antibacterials/antifungals, as effective as stacked antibiotics in studies...

The catch is that it raises ROS.

Tetracyclines are found to scavange ROS!

My thought is, if I take thymoquinone (found a synthesized source), I wonder if I'll be effectively healing my body of ROS, with the pro-metabolic stuffs, plus tetracycline.

Any thoughts on how this is wack? I wouldn't exactly suggest it to others, Peat himself would suggest the low and slow rotation of safe antibiotics (and I'm having trouble accessing a few).

I feel like my strategy is up there with people thinking if they just take vitamin E or coconut oil with seed oils, they'll protect themselves from PUFA, but the liver isn't "smart" in that way, and damage is still done, while the coconut oil and vit E simultaneously does it's thing wherever it goes in the body...

@LetTheRedeemed Are you certain that thymoquinone would still be potently antibacterial if you scavenge its ROS?
Maybe that's its main point of action? Idk. If so it could be as daft as combining chlorine dioxide with vitamin C.

@CrumblingCookie great call, upon a brief google search it looks like that's precisely how thymoquinone, and a few other herbal antibiotics work... more research needed
