The most effective route to achieving optimal health is by channeling the intrinsic methods that the human body has developed during its hundreds of thousands years on Earth. People do not seem to be seeking more exuberance in living as much as staving off failure, putting off dying. We have lost all confidence in the human body. Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. The nuns taught us there are two ways through life: the way of nature and the way of grace. You have to choose which one you'll follow. Grace doesn't try to please itself.
