Bioenergetics for high-level athletes

Is anyone familiar with any content from Peaters who are high-level, highly competitive athletes? This is not me, but a lot of the people I work with train at this level, and I'm wondering if there are more things to consider other than eating more carbs and fats. I'd be curious to hear y'all's thoughts or, if you know of someone who fits this bill, other than Hansius, please share.
