2-how could estrogen be doing allat when ive taken thyroid before and felt good from having my stress homrones beeing nuked? or what is that what happens when u take too much thyroid at once? Ive been on my chinese pharma grade pregnenolone for a while and when I take my dose I sometimes even get instant sedation like its cypro or smth
So it’s probably converted to progesterone . Progesterone makes me anxious when I’m outside, yet calm and sedated when I’m not exposed to a stressor

@jamezb46 this is intressting since DHEA should be strongly converted into DHT when it goes through such a rich 5AR site, effectivly lowering estrogen and not increasing it, but perhaps not all libido is the same

@lobotomize intressting experienec w p4 thank u
but yea ion take DHEA ion take dht ion take shit im tryna be a true fake natty that takes shit thats not banned by wada all while having 6 million ng test levels

The letters you linked (1989) went on with this:Since our original discovery of this
problem, further analyses of lanolin per-
formed by the Food and Drug Adminis-
tration, as cited by Mr Cade, have dem-
onstrated a total of 16 different
pesticides that may be contained in vari-
ous lanolin creams. This is more than in
our original study. This same risk analy-
sis also notes that at the highest concen-
trations found, the amount of pesticide
ingested per day by an infant could actu-
ally exceed the acceptable daily intake
currently set by the Environmental
Protection Agency. We do not believe
that surpassing the acceptable daily in-
take is acceptable, even though it may
occur infrequently. We also continue to
believe that the unnecessary ingestion
of known allergens and carcinogens by a
newborn should be avoided, particularly
since the newborn has an immature im¬
mune system and a liver that is not yet
completely functional. It would seem very unreasonable to supply any such directly into (onto) the most sensitive endocrine organs! What has become of that in terms of quantity and quality nowadays? Of the lanolin products I have, one says lanolin, anhydrous, cleaned of pesticides and the other one just says lanolin oil. If I had to select one by smell and texture I'd actually prefer the latter.
Anyway it shows that there really must have been and perhaps continuously is a noteworthy background wrt the wool treatment pesticides (not only endocrine disruptors but also the kind of neurotoxins) contained in lanolin. -

Here is a link for Preg dissolved in MCT & tocopherols.
The products I have gotten from Idealabs I immediately swapped out of their plastic containers because ethanol degrades plastics into microplastics. So you’re also then hypothetically pouring xenoestrogens on your balls as well.
I actually hopped on here to ask for an alternative to Energin, as the only other close option I’ve found is the HealthNatura but the price difference is crazy.

@sphagnum health natura has sold admittedly bunk supplements before btw
they talked up their k2 product at one time just like they talk up their pregnenolone product, and it turns out they were selling bunk k2 for awhile. their customer service after the fact was atrocious.and I dont think the type of bottle that idealabs uses is not resistant to ethanol solvent. not all plastics are like the stuff used for cheap water bottles etc.
idealabs customer service sucks too but it's worth to put up with for their products and haidut's research
-
I remember reading people complaining on RPF about the K2, but I didn’t see anything substantiated. I thought it was a color difference in batches that people freaked out over. I’d have to go back and look again.
I think we’re on the same page with the idealabs bottles which is that they are no good, especially when you consider the solvents, yes?
I’ve been hit or miss with the customer service. One time the dropper hole didn’t work for the viscosity of the fluid (hole was too big and the stuff would fly out) and they sent me new caps asap. Another time the solution separated and wouldn’t mix again. They were supposed to send out a replacement and never did.
100% agree with feeling confident in his research.

@sphagnum HN literally admitted to me over email that they did sell bad K2 product. you can ask them yourself. They seem like well-intentioned people but they, like many other "family-run" businesses don't know what good customer service is and probably operate on this assumption that their self professed expertise (which I dont doubt they have, although it is ironic that for all the hype they talked about their k2 supplement synth process and expertise that they couldn't even verify the quality properly before selling it) ) translates into the customer being willing to tolerate their bad business practices. Haidut's company has elements of this bad customer service as well (shipping wrong product, not ideal dropper bottle design and changing viscosity of solutions leading to product being spurted out and wasted when customer gets a new batch and expects the pressure needed to dispense to be the same, their caps breaking the bottles when tightened just a bit too much, etc) but what im saying is their research and types of products offered makes their bad customer service worth tolerating . HN not so much for me
I mean when haidut's company comes down to it, is just a repackaging service for powders from sigma Aldrich , and to a smaller extent a go between for custom synths from labs. they dont offer a quality / quantitative guarantee. it's worth it for many people to pay $50 for an overpriced bottle of something rather than trying to get the powder themselves and do it, but tbh for easy to get stuff like progesterone and dhea, I got a hot plate with magnetic stirrer and some beakers and just mix my own now. saves a lot of money and I think the quality is fine. and for some reason I dont really trust their liquid synthetic thyroid products to not degrade, idk why, I have zero proof or knowledge about this, but id rather buy pharmaceutical thyroid products, same goes with their cyproheptadine, I pay the ridiculous price to get the tablets from a north american pharma company because there is virtually no question about if when a tablet says it has 4mg it has 4mg. haidut has never posted an analysis of any of his products.

@sunsunsun
Thorough assessment on both.
I do also like that Idealabs offers different solvent options on some products which is a step above. I just wish they would offer a glass bottle option as the difference in packing price and shipping cost would be pocket change. If they charged the honest cost difference, I’d be more than happy to jump on that.Where’d you source cypro? The idealabs one did nothing for me, even if I went heavier than recommended. I started off super worried about oversleeping or being sluggish the next day, but I never even got baseline “well rested,” even when going heavy.
-
@sphagnum I get the JAMP cypro from biosense in in BC Canada, its $130 CAD for 100 x 4mg tablets which is the normal price to buy it from a pharmacy in Canada. I asked them and they said they will ship internationally for anyone that wants it. If you want to try Indian pharmaceuticals it is available for basically pennies on the dollar but I've never verified quality. I usually buy name brand medications from domestic manufacturers when I can unless I see proof that the generic product is as good. name brand stuff is really expensive in comparison though.
actually post like yours is why I didn't bother with idealabs cypro, someone on rpf also said the same thing, that it didn't do anything. meanwhile a quarter of the tablet (1mg) that I take has distinct effects. maybe the idealabs cypro is fine but I just dont bother risking it. once I got wuflu really bad and I sure was glad I had a bottle of Pharma cypro tablets because I was taking like 6 to 8 a day to help and it was a big help.
