10x cheaper pyrucet

I have discovered that it's possible to make a 10x cheaper version of pyrucet by buying ethyl pyruvate and ethyl acetoacetate individually:

1kg of each is equivalent to 66 bottles of pyrucet or $2640 worth while the ingredients are $193 + $76.2 = $269.2 and it would last you 5 YEARS.

What's the catch?

the catch is when u try to order from sigma Aldrich and they say no or at best ignore you

@sunsunsun I have ordered from them in the past (years ago) and had no trouble

I could use my university email and maybe ship it there to add the chefs kiss of authenticity
