a woman in her 70s, someone I know. Her heart beats a bit fast. She exercises and is not fat. She hears her heart boom boom when she is lying down, and this causes her to be upset. She asked me for some advice.

What should I tell her? Thank you

Could be high adrenalin, in which case, taurine depletes adrenalin. I'm taking 3g/d and I think it helps a lot.

She could also have high estrogen, in which case you'd want the standard Peaty fixings like progesterone, vitamin A/D/E/K, etc.

Magnesium calms the heartbeat, though Calcium and Potassium are obviously involved in certain ways.

Not everyone seems to react the same way to certain Magnesium forms, she may have to try a couple of types to find the right one for her.
