Ondansetron

Has anybody here tried ondansetron ad had any good experiences. I know its used in hospitals to treat nausea and vomiting and works to inhibit 5-HT3 receptors. I'm wondering if this works in the same way as cypro, and if it can produce the same effects as I can get Zofran more easily?

@periander345 I’ll try it soon. From what I’ve read constipation sucks and idk if 5 ht 3 antagonism is as good as 5 HT2c

@periander345 I was prescribed it at 4mg pre-peat. It worked amazing to stop constant diarrhea when I had some kind of intestinal irritation. Peats recommendation though was 1mg or less I believe, haidut also posted a study where in higher doses it could cause heart issues but was reversed with progesterone and pregnenolone.

@Dakota any mental effects to note?

@Dakota Interesting. Does it help with sleep at all?
-
@periander345 Not that I can remember but it shouldn't hurt.

@thyroidchor27 Mainly just chilled out similar to cyproheptadine. It makes your gut feel indestructible as well, I would check out haiduts post on it. I think he was taking up to like 16 or 32mg at one point.
