Is there something like that already?

I’d propose a lot of upbeat, high bpm music. Maybe not pop culture trash like Lil Nas X due to the low vibration of his lyrics.

      If you have ideas: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1xjbATQpYl5BMkrKTzRQyh?si=1b40ef2a087c4072&pt=3456e32592eb6769e955e50d0898e7c0

Apparently these links now expire so I’ll edit this post and keep adding a new one.

        Some songs I would add:

        • Groove Line by Heatwave
        • Smooth Sailing by Queens of the Stone Age
        • Power Trip by Monster Magnet
        • Life Is A Highway by Tom Cochrane

Some more "new-agey", pagan folk style songs also sound "peaty" to me, because their vibes feel very energetic and positively stimulating to me, for example:

        • Räven by Hedningarna
        • Gods by Sol Invictus
        • Deos Erotas/Psychostasia/Divine Goddess of Fertility by Daemonia Nymphe
        • Shapeshifter by Trobar de Morte

@Melora Thanks for the suggestions, I've added the top 4 now, but you should be able to just join the playlist and add whatever you want!

@samuel Oh, that's good to know. I'll check if I can add to the playlist.

I would add anime shit/J-core since they are definitively high BPM and the aesthetics are often "sugary" in their cheerfulness, but that would 1) scare off normal-taste individuals and 2) be highly dissonant with the rest of the playlist.

High BPM music may be considered Peaty because they act as a stimulant and put the user in a positive mood, but also remember some specific metal or EDM genres may be excitotoxic or stressful to the listener - at least, I have a lot of music for that express purpose.
More calming music can also be considered Peaty for this reason, at least insofar as it does not produce in the user a feeling of lethargy or melancholy. Like audial GABA.

Thus far the playlist's theme seems to be very tasteful classic pop that is listened to when in a mood of pleasant levity and lightheartedness. There specifically is some 80s disco music, so I'll recommend Earth Wind and Fire's "Let's Groove" or "My Promise".

I see there was a song from Justice added, which is Techno. If you want to go that route, you could add some of the classics from Daft Punk ("Around The World", "Get Lucky", "Digital Love", etc), or other techno artists like Uppermost ("Dance", "Lovely Soul", or "Fly").

@Tahodama Just join and add your songs yourself! You make some very good points! And if someone disagrees with a particular song, there is always the skip option.

I find stuff like Sythnpop and Future Funk to be very Peaty. Usually upbeat and high energy.
