Hello guys, I am a 27 y/o man who considers himself "healthy", I play sports and I carry a healthy amount of body fat with decent muscle. Recently I was feeling kind of tired and when checking my temperature it came back too low for a couple of days for the standard here. I decided to buy and take glandular thyroid to try out if there were improvements on pulse and bt. I took only one pill and I thought that even if I would not need it it could not do any harm. Since then I have difficulty swallowing and pain right on my own thyroid gland...
Could you please help me understand the reason this happened. Does it have to do with not needing it and the body supressing my own thyroid production?
Could you tell me what to expect and if it will resolve itself soon?
I have to say that I hardly ever have cold hands or feet, and in my group I am always the one that resists the cold the best. So that is why I was always surprised to see my temperature readings, they have been low for a long time. I am starting to think that the very problem might be in the termometer. LOL
Forgot to say that the glandular thyroid is bovine, from allergyresearchgroup.
Thanks in advance.
