@Davida Then I find this by the man: I doubt that there is any biological significance in the idea of leptin resistance. Leptin promotes inflammation and cancer, so it might be good to be resistant to it, but I think the concept is mainly an outgrowth of the pharmaceutical industry's promotion of leptin as a cure for obesity. Does Cypro and Mirtazapine cause leptin resistance?
Leptin increases according to studies, but also the appetite and weight gain. "Leptin resistance may be mediated by an antihistaminergic effect on hypothalamic nuclei integrating signals relevant for energy balance." it says here:https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23277262/
I am very afraid of weight gain. Have anyone looked into this and found out it is nothing to fear or should I avoid it? (I would like a medication to reduce migraine and help me sleep deeper.) -
Salt with every meal?
Is it important with salt with every meal? I usually have large portions of fruits in a meal by itself, but now I am wondering if I should have something salty with my fruits. What do you think? I have two other meals in the last part of the day where I add salt generously. I have chronic migraine.
