I've been dealing with slight GI bleeding for a while now and while it's not a serious injury, it has stopped me from consuming things like coffee, alcohol, chocolate, etc. And it's yet to go away on it's own after months despite what seems to be a lack of symptoms for prolonged periods of time
Thus far I've seen Haidut recommend Famotidine as the safest option to conventional proton pump inhibitors, as even first generation H2 (stomach acid production) blockers like Ranitidine or Cimetidine have very undesirable side effects like increasing Prolactin, and God knows I can do without that
However, all OTC Famotidine options I've found are chockful of zog bullshit like Red 40, Aluminium food colorings, "titanium dioxide" and I can't catch a break
