I've finally found a source of canned (unsmoked, in water) oysters (check asian supermarkets) and so at long last I'll be supplementing my diet with those.

How often do you guys tend to eat the nutrient-dense 'supplemental' foods such as liver and oysters?

This is not a thread to discuss your take on the whole matter. I'm specifically asking people who agree on an optimal health strategy (Ray's and by extension Danny's), how often they implement this particular element of it.

@CO3 I arrived at 100 grams of liver a week and 1 can of oysters, listening both Peat & Danny’s work.

@CO3 1-2 times a week. I'll have a can of oysters.. I notice certain symptoms when I'm vitamin deficient, and so if I get those I eat oysters more often.

@CO3 please share your oyster source! Is it by chance boiled oyster in water?

I don’t react well to the smoked oyster so looking for alternatives.

@Buckian yeah i think they're boiled! i got three different cans in the more gentrified large asian store. the authentic one only had them frozen. another great option but i don't have a freezer

for clarity: it's not that i wanted to avoid smoked oysters, threy don't sellthem in europe.

added benefit is it's probably healthier unsmoked and not soaked in olive oil, and a lot cheaper.

i just wish (all of) these canned or frozen iysters weren't korean, where there is lots of radiation

@CO3 I just eat oysters when I crave them, which is usually about once a week and they always taste good, but if i just force myself to eat them when my body doesn’t want them they taste disgusting and i can barely swallow them without throwing up
