Vit B1 setting off carbon monoxide alarm - please help

Whenever I take B1 the carbon monoxide alarm in my house goes off
Is my metabolism this screwed? Can someone explain this? How am I not dead? I had to take the carbon monoxide alarm off the wall as it started beeping every time I stood next to it and it would stop if I walked away....
