Vitamin A deficiency kills over half-million kids each year.

"In the world, hypovitaminosis A occurs in one third of children under the age of five. It kills 670,000 children under the age of five each year. An estimated 250,000-500,000 children in developing countries become blind each year due to vitamin A deficiency (mostly in Southeast Asia and Africa)."
Sobering fact that we live in such a privileged society here in the capitalist west that we get to explore these dumb fringe ideas like "poison A" while kids are literally dying from a A deficiency (and other deficiencies most likely).

I'd say that most people in these low A fields are seriously looking for a solution despite being misguided so don't hold it against them too much. I'm sure they will come back around when they realise most of their benefits are from an extremely low fat diet.

@Jakeandpace Probably, or maybe they just remove problematic foods from their diet. Big thing about "peaters" (I've never liked that word, lol) is the dairy/milk. There's a shit ton of people that don't tolerate milk, so when they remove it they feel better. That doesn't mean vitamin A is bad, or calcium, or lactose, or whatever else they can think of. It means they continued to try and force a food that wasn't agreeing with them due to some misconception that a "way of life" (in this case peating) necessitates that they do so.
