Is America Ready for ‘Degrowth Communism’?
Just google Degrowth communism and look at how much this has been pushed over the last few days. This is a coordinated attack that tries to create the opportunity to introduce the most hellish communism in history. They will make a cult of bringing down well-functional institutions including innovative hubs. This form of communism does not hide the envy and resentment that regular communism has as its roots as well. Degrowth communism is explicit in that it wants to bring successfully well-functional people and institutions down.
Orange juice makers consider using other fruits after prices go ‘bananas’
The predicted poor crop in Brazil, which accounts for 70% of all orange juice exports, marks the third difficult global harvest in a row. As well as problems in Brazil, Florida in the US has been hit by a series of hurricanes and the greening disease, which is spread by sap-sucking insects and turns the fruit bitter before killing the tree.
The IFU has said it is considering lobbying for a rewrite of UN-level food regulations so that orange juice can contain other citrus fruits, as well as pursuing rule changes at the country level.

I've never understood why someone would have "pride" in their sexual identity. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fascist, but I find it weird someone would wrap their entire existence into the people they have sex with. You don't see the vast majority of heterosexuals acting like this.
Pride is something you have in great personal accomplishments, not things inherent to one's identity. I'm no more prideful of my heterosexuality as I am of my green eyes or brown hair, lol.

I think the high emphasis on their sexuality comes because they seek validation. They need everyone to approve of their sexuality all the time because they know in their hearts that it is wrong. They are not happy and they engage in a carnival freak show. It is best to ridicule it. Pride seems to already have lost some of its backing in the last two years.

What one man learned living alone in the wilderness for 40 years
I’ve spent the majority of my life living outside the conventions of mainstream society, and I’ll tell you what I think is weird, and it ain’t the hermit. It’s how entire generations of people have been conned into believing that there is only one way to live, and that’s on-grid, in deepening debt, working on products you’ll probably never use, to line the pockets of people you’ll never meet, just so you might be able to get enough money together to buy a load of crap you don’t need, or, if you’re lucky, have a holiday that takes you to a place, like where I live, for a week of the happiness I feel every day.
The neurodivergent era? Record number of U.S. adults being tested for autism
A peer-reviewed study based on 2020 census data estimated that one in 45 adults in the U.S. are autistic. That’s about 7.5 million people. Unlike autistic children, autistic adults are usually underserved. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that only 21% of adults with disabilities (autism included) are employed. The National Autism Society reported in 2016 that the unemployment rate among autistic adults was as high as 85%. Up to two-thirds of autistic adults have considered suicide, and 35% have attempted to take their own lives.

In neighbouring Hildburghausen, a man who sells merchandise featuring Nazi and Ku Klux Klan motifs won 25% and is now in a run-off to become district administrator.
Nationwide, the AfD also has little chance of attaining power next year. But its role in eroding the vote of traditional parties is set to promote more strained and ultimately unpopular alliances of unlikely bedfellows.
Meanwhile the AfD, only 11 years old, has been expanding, and fielded 44% more candidates.
"We are seeing a clearing-out of established political culture," said political scientist Lembcke. "Meanwhile, the AfD doesn't face as much stigma anymore and is filling the void." -
@Norwegian-Mugabe I think 'moderates' (moderates defined as people who weren't already against the agenda) probably started shying away from their support for pride when it started to get really...uhh...pedophilic. Only the most batshit insane people to walk this planet could agree with letting 6 year olds take puberty blockers and read books about anal sex. We've came a long way from the 1st generation of "gay liberation" that simply wanted equal access to marriage. It started as a movement where they wanted to prove they're just like normal family unit households. Now they're doing a very good job at proving the critics right about their sexual deviancy and perversions, lol. Only NPCs and folks with political agendas continue to support this type of stuff.

A little too Kaczynskish for my personal taste, but not the worst way to live by far.
I think autism hikes are very likely to be environmental and brought about due to how much screen time kids get now. It's an exponential increase too. I'm not some old timer, just 30. I'm closer to gen Z than some of my fellow millennials. But when I was growing up I didn't have a cell phone until I was 14. Didn't have social media until I was 16. Kids now days get that shit well before they're even 10. Also the dwindling nutritional support probably isn't helping anyone either.
-
@Mulloch94 Living outside the society is too extreme, but he is right that it is crazy to always live in expectation of some future reward. Most people are like donkeys with a carrot in front of them their whole lives.
I think the digital factor plays a role in the rise of autism. There is a great essay by T.S Eliot from 1950 where he warns against TV and its effect on children. I think the fact that children are being dumped in kindergarten at age one must also contribute to the rise in autism. Mutational loads are probably also playing a part. Everyone survives and reproduces these days. The vax is also doing damage. Nutritional deficiencies as well. Yet, the main factor is probably the gut health of the mother.

Kris Hansen had worked as a chemist at the 3M Corporation for about a year when her boss, an affable senior scientist named Jim Johnson, gave her a strange assignment. 3M had invented Scotch Tape and Post-it notes; it sold everything from sandpaper to kitchen sponges. But on this day, in 1997, Johnson wanted Hansen to test human blood for chemical contamination.
Several of 3M’s most successful products contained man-made compounds called fluorochemicals. In a spray called Scotchgard, fluorochemicals protected leather and fabric from stains. ........

In 1951, the UK population was 50 million with an employment rate of 70.4%. There were 35.2 million workers who were supporting 4.5 million pensioners, or 7.8 workers for every pensioner.
Today, the UK’s population is more than 67 million, which includes 33.17 million workers and 12.8 million pensioners. This means that every pensioner is being “supported” by just 2.6 workers.

"We learned that 70 percent of people who want to get married aren't actively joining events or apps to look for a partner," 727,277 babies were born in Japan in 2023, down 5.6 percent from the previous year and the lowest since the country started recording the statistics in 1899. Last year, Japan recorded more than twice as many deaths as births, and the country's fertility rate—the average number of babies a woman has in her lifetime—was 1.2. If current trends continue, Japan's population—more than 125 million people at the moment—could fall to 87 million by 2060, with 40 percent of the population being over the age of 65, which would have a significant effect on the country's economy and social services. -
