Pretty crazy. I disagreed with him on many things but I thought it was refreshing to hear a guy who actually understood the concept (besides Ray of course) fat makes you fat, not sugar. Does anyone know how he died? Dude looked horrible the last 5-7 years of his life. Looked like a bad case of sarcopenia.

@Mulloch94 My guess is he had a stroke because it seemed sudden to me but I don't know how people will find out for certain. His family would probably hide anything that could damage his legacy.

Yeah prolly. Welp, another influencer that didn't live to be 120, I guess according to Charlie everything he ever did was dumb and stupid now, lol.
Bro is gonna be heartbroken when Smith and Genereux don't make it to 120. If Charlie himself lives to see that day. I'm guessing not, considering Charlie is probably middle-aged right now.

@Mulloch94 The community knows exactly what happened here. It was the sweet potatoes. Killed by carotanemia and/or hypervitaminosis A

Haha, dude was looking a little orangey wasn't he
Edit: To be entirely fair and not make a complete spectacle of their views, it is reasonable to believe McDougall viewed carotene as a good thing. I don't know enough about him to confirm this as the case, but considering he was against animal forms of vitamin A it almost forces his hand here. Nevertheless, his wasting seemed to be a big driver to the decline of his health, just from a pure visual look at least.
