One thing I enjoyed about the KMUD herb doctor radio shows is the regular callers they would get, like recurring characters on a TV show.
The most memorable ones for me were of course the shrill lady who was always calling to argue with Dr. Peat about whatever he was talking about. The first time she called in she actually mentioned she had gotten her thyroid gland irradiated due to a hyperthyroidism diagnosis from her doctor, and you could hear Andrew audibly groan in the background. Dr. Peat's patience in answering her estrogenic shrieking was always admirable.
On the later shows (the rare ones you can't find on YouTube) there was also this strange hippie who would always call in to hock his monkfruit sugar supplements and badmouth cane sugar.
What are some of your favorite moments from the herb doctor shows?

I always laugh during one of the sugar episodes when someone's mother is calling in and complaining that her son craves sugar. Peat had just laid out beautifully why sugar is good and this woman evidently missed the whole point of the discussion.
