    Been getting into long distance biking more recently and a lot of people use ‘gels’ for energy which are pretty much honey, salt and water - or sometimes things like ‘ketone’ energy drinks etc.

    Gels seem like the peatiest option here but I want to experiment more/make my own, what else should I be adding beyond just the honey salt and water you think?

      @apeiron

      I've never had the chance to use these gels, as my running days are behind me as I lost interest in it when I got convinced it's nor peaty and I never had a runner's high. Plus, I haven't needed external metabolism nor fasting to keep myself in a good build and in normal weight.

      It would be good to know what's used in making the mixture gel, and whether it is beneficial or harmful to our well-being.
