Leafy Greens
-
Peat always talks pretty fondly of leafy greens if they are well-cooked and prepared properly. But, for some reason the peat sphere seems to be pretty anti-vegetable. I think a lot of people misinterpret peat's take on vegetables. He thought mushrooms, potatoes, carrots, turnips, and leafy greens could all be great foods. Anybody here eating more vegetables and thriving?

@Sugarnotsnow Well cooked leafy greens is all the veggies I eat at home pretty much. Boring and not sexy. But packed with calcium, magnesium, and vitamin K. And as a bonus, it is full of cellulose fiber, which is insoluble and good for the gut as it doesn't encourage the growth of gut microbes.
And did I say the bigs don't like leaves, so it's more likely to be pedticide-free.
Developing the taste for it is the challenge, I think, for most, especially if you're raised in Mickey D’s.

But people would prefer milk, bit they'll miss pit on the magnesium, the insoluble fiber, and the vitamin K.
