I am 99% sure I am lactose intolerant as a result have been avoiding milk/cheese for the past couple months. Issue is I do not know how else to get calcium and supplements are expensive. If I drink milk will absorb the calcium content or nah. Also, if I drink milk with a meal will I still absorb the meal or will it be not digested along with the milk.

tl;dr will I be able to absorb the calcium from milk if im lactose intolerant and can i drink it with meals or at a seperate time

What symptoms do you experience? Do you get the same symptoms with cheese? Cheese usually has very little lactose.

War is when a government tells the people who is the enemy. Revolution is when the people work it out for themselves.

Consume it with food as it will slow down the digestion giving body more time to break it down. 🙂

That's what I noticed when I started drinking raw milk. I wonder what is the best thing to consume alongside milk? Anything that absorbs the liquid must be a negative, so insoluble fibers might be a good idea, but you would need a lot of it to really slow milk digestion.

Blend your egg shells in a coffee grinder into a fine powder, cheap calcium supplement.
