Thiamine TTFD high dose can affect brain neurotransmitters
It can produce hot flashes and other side effects: It may include sweating, tingling, flushing, feeling of warmth, itching, chest tightness, fluid retention, nausea, restlessness, weakness, discolored skin or hives.
        Stacy Wiegman, PharmD

Mostlylurking said somewhere that if you take thiamine without also taking magnesium you will increase your serotonin. => Stressful.
=> If brain sensitive, stop one week. I d’ take some B2 (not necessary every day), B3 (niacinamide) and B6. Mind the kind B6 (PLP advised) and not without making pause for B6, otherwise you get other neuroproblems.

        Redsun said somewhere:
B1 is thought to possibly cause B6 deficiency. I thought this as well and I am still kind of on the fence with it. But it seems like the reason supplementing B6 counteracts symptoms from excess B1 quite quickly is because it dramatically increases GABA and serotonin levels, increasing their activity at synapses and which quickly reduces cholinergic activity.
