    Siggis Skyr - Cheese like yogurt - Cheap, low inflamatory protein?

      Hello All,

      Does anyone have any experience eating boatloads of Siggis? Widely available, declares itself free from industrial chemicals (additives, preservatives, stablizers.) I’ve been eating 6 or so per day ( 90g of dairy protein) and can say that i don’t feel more inflamed by them despite a bowel system sensitive to industrial dairy concoctions (cheese w/ microbial rennet, annato, etc.)

      I’ll often combine it on the same spoon with organic raw honey and wash it down with 1% milk. Blood type lactose brothers unite.

      Does anyone know how one would have it tested for phosphate content?

        @deadkaczynski I enjoy Siggi's as well, I've never had any issues with it. I know Ray cautioned against yogurt because of the lactic acid content, but Siggi's seems less acidic than other yogurts anyway. Chronometer says it has 145mg phosphorus and 150mg calcium per serving, so calcium:phosphorus ratio should be about 1:1

          My go-to snack in college was a vanilla Siggi’s with cacao nibs and raw honey.

            One thing to have behind your ear is that Skyr is technically a cheese. Some have sensitivity to skyr but not milk etc.
