This is a post outlining my experience trying to do a lower meat version of peating. The past 2ish years I have greatly reduced my meat consumption and focused more on dairy with a few eggs. My meat consumption during this time was probably about 1.5 lbs (680g) of meat a week or less. I had lower sex drive, lower energy, and, for the first time in my life, actually experienced some depression. I am 165 lbs (75kg) at 5' 8" (172 cm).

The past 2 weeks I have eaten more red meat, mostly beef with some lamb. Around 300 grams a day. Greatly reduced my dairy consumption. I have much higher sex drive (still a little lower than where it was prior to my low muscle meat experience, but probably 70% back to normal), more motivation, better sleep, more happiness, and random bouts of euphoria.

I think high dairy, low muscle meat works well for some, but I was foolishly ignoring my meat cravings for a long time. I think some of us just do better on more meat, and we should not try to pubmed our way through intuition.
