I started today off with a liquefied meal but I always crack pretty quick.

Is there a trick to sticking with it?

Having a solid food such as a chunk of cheese with it?

I went long periods on liquid only (raw milk and fruit juice) purely out of necessity, and the majority of my calories have come from liquids since 2014 because of how good I feel without much fiber in my diet, the number one benefit for me of the carnivore diet (I followed it back in 2010/2011) and Ray’s advice (he told me back in 2015 that he thought all fibers were risky when I asked him if he thought my following a fiber-free diet was safe). The only fiber in my diet comes from fresh pressed juice, all fruit jam (St. Dalfour), nice cream, young coconut meat and fresh figs when in season, totaling no more than 15 g of fiber on the days I have the nice cream, coconut and figs, and no more than a gram or two on the days I have only the juice and jam. I drink at least 1 liter of fresh pressed fruit juice and/or raw milk in a sitting and I always have a solid, salted food (eggs, meat, cheese and/or strained yogurt/quark) with it because it takes at least 20 minutes for me to feel satiated and I tend to chug down the juice and milk within minutes if that’s all I’m having.

I will give that a try. Ideally my Soylent product doesn't need a hack but that's all sci-fi at this point.

I had the idea is to make it taste a little disgusting with a spice or two I don't care for. Seasoning to perfection could have doomed the effort. My gift turned against me 😊

LOL Out of curiosity, which spice(s) did you use?

@Jennifer Just cumin, pepper, garlic, onion powder and salt in perfect proportions making it irresistible to anyone.

              I sabotaged my own project🤦

Adding a little rosemary would slow me down. The smell reminds me of cleaning products. And/or leaving off the exquisite seasoning from the beginning might work to pace me so I can simulate and iv calorie trickle.

@herenow, cumin would sabotage my best effort to moderate, too. It’s so good!

@evan-hinkle Have you lost much weight with this way of eating? I’ve recently been seeing diets working around the Randle Cycle.

@GlucoseGal I have. 25lbs from my max weight this past year, and two years ago I did the same thing and lost 20lbs at that time too, (running various experiments I put the 20 lbs back on).

When it happened two years ago I didn’t put two and two together and incorrectly attributed the weight loss to some B vitamin supplementation. I went back on a milk and honey diet a few months ago now for convenience when work got very busy, and after about a month realized I’d lost some weight.

I used to track my diet in chronometer to make sure I was hitting key nutrients and maintaining 2800-3000 calories, (under which my sleep suffers). I only track occasionally now, but I’m still hitting that range each day, (so it’s not purely cals in/out). On days I workout I tend to get closer to 3200, (I lift weights three days a week).

Sorry, I know that’s a ton of info, but I like to give context for clarity.
