@mostlylurking I take 170mg benfotiamine with my breakfast, should double that or would the thiamine hcl have a different effect?

@AJdaJuiceman I've found that taking my thiamine at least 30 minutes away from eating and taking it with water only makes a huge difference. It could be that simple. I'd try that first. Then, you could consider increasing the dose if you think it would be helpful.

I have more experience with thiamine hcl because that is the one I take myself. I follow Dr. Costantini's protocol. He had excellent results with thiamine hcl when treating his Parkinson's Disease patients. His protocol describes the amount of thiamine hcl needed when taken orally to equal to a 100mg injection of thiamine hcl. This is based on body weight. For me, it is 1 gram of thiamine hcl, 2Xday, taken with water only and 30 minutes away from consuming food/juices. I don't know how to extrapolate that information to your type of thiamine, sorry.

@AJdaJuiceman Are you getting at least 20 grams of sodium chloride daily?

@lucasmenem Probably, yes. I really like salt. I had problems with electrolytes early in 2021 after I increased my thiamine hcl to 1 gram, 2Xday. My chiropractor pointed out that lack of electrolytes were probably part of my issue at that time. So I made a point to eat a salty meal every day (frittata with kalamata olives, feta cheese, etc.) and made sure to drink my OJ for the potassium. I was relying on too much milk and gelatin at that time and it got me into trouble.

Oops. I see now that your post wasn't addressed to me. Sorry.

A warm tea or coffee with about 1-2 tbsp of gelatin powder and honey seems to do the trick for me. Drank this with a bit of aspirin the other day and had to take my shirt off I was getting so hot.

                        50-100mg pregnenolone with 400 IU Vitamin E.

I have unusually low temp usually but if I take this, my wife starts asking me whether I'm sick or have a fever. It's very effective.
