      If I were to choose between the two topical options, I may have to pick isobetadine. I would be worried that such a strong concentration (65%) of EO’s would be too much for a child’s skin. That concentration exceeds the limits that I’ve read in the past for EO that is coming into contact with the human body.
      Also, the isobetadine I imagine can be spread around the surrounding area safely, where the EO may sensitize a child’s skin if spread all over the area.

      1. Is there an upper limit for topical isobetadine, since it is obviously penetrating the skin and therefore going into the organism?

      2. What nutrients would you suggest here? I would like to fight this systematically more than attacking isolated concentrations on the skin.

      @Peatful
      Is there any specific testing you think might be worthwhile? I’m not even sure how to check for inflammation or endotoxins in a meaningful way (so many tests seem to be considered unreliable or not looking at the right markers by the standards on here and RPF.)
      This is for a child and not myself, so I can’t really experiment or go by “feel” like I could for if it was me. They are otherwise very healthy though, and eat a what would mostly be considered an “approved” diet by most folks on here.

        My apologies for missing that it was for small child

        If the child has had vaccines lately, that would explain a compromised or overworked immune system

        I know both of my children had quite an adverse response to specifically the chickenpox vaccine

        The further society drifts from the truth the more it will hate those who speak it.

          1. With isobetadine, you won't get problem if applied on 3 or 4 warts.
            But I'd take into account another possibility if you're convinced that iodine could be useful. I've begun with a take of 225 mcg iodine (titled) very progressively to accustom NIS symporters. I can give a link for more details on how to take iodine. But first with selenium before iodine.
          2. Here is part of the answer:
            The total concentration of essential oils with ketones in the blend is 6.6%. This is indeed the percentage I was aiming for.
            A concentration of around 5-7% of these two essential oils is generally/probably effective, while remaining safe, within an intensive application context (attack phase). After an attack phase of approximately 5 days, the concentration can be reduced to 2% instead of 6.6% for adolescents between 8 and 15 years old. No ketones are used in children under 7 years old (their brains are still developing).
            I have applied a safety margin.
            I modified pharmacist D. Festy's protocol (making it less potent). Why? Essential oils won't kill the virus. They weaken the virus's "shell," making it more vulnerable to attack by the immune system.

            I thought warts were common in children and not so much in adults? German New Medicine has ideas on why we get warts and why on different limbs/hands or feet. For example, separation and distance anxieties relate to warts on feet; wanting to remain somewhere after moving, etc. I'm not sure the explanation for hands/fingers.

              1. Yes, I'm comfortable with iodine and feel it can be useful when done right, so I would be interested.
                As far as selenium, what would be best for that as well? Normally I would try Brazil nuts. The Terrasoul brand claims to harvest from heirloom trees in the Amazon, and stores them in refrigeration. The numbers on cronometer are pretty good as far as the amount of selenium to non-saturated fats so I was thinking of ordering some of these for myself as my diet is likely low in selenium. However, the child had a strong allergic reaction to a Brazil nut at a young age so I imagine that still won't be an option.

              2. I see. I thought the concentration was a misunderstanding so thank you for clarifying.
                Interesting on how the oils work to weaken the shell rather than kill directly. This is useful info in general when exploring EOs for health.
                Thank you for the other link. I will begin reading that now. You certainly provided a good amount of detailed information there.

              @Corngold
              That kind of reminds me of reflexology and the interconnections of the body. While this particular finger seems to have been directly infected through a wound (I double checked infant pictures to make sure it was the same finger) I still feel that there is merit in exploring the connections between the physical and emotional body. I will see what would be suggested in the case of finger warts.

                Why the hype on thyrotoxicosis of inorganic iodide? Wollf-Chaikoff effect explained.
                With sources and references in English.
                NB: The Wolff-Chaikoff effect describes the immediate intrinsic reduction in thyroid hormone synthesis following a substantial iodine load due to deficient iodide organification. On another way expressed, the NIS symporter must first be accustomed to let iodine enter the cell. It has to be done progressively for 2 main reasons:
                Let wake up asleep receptors (NIS symporters)
                Delayed adaptation of the thyroid function (10-15 days).

                NB1: Take first 100 mcg selenium 3x/wk to protect overreaction of the thyroid when lacking Se.
                NB2: If you’re under-thyroid, it could be that halogens occupy the place of iodine on the thyroid gland. Halogens = bromine (flour), chlorine (water), fluorine (toothpaste).
                NB3: Don’t trust the common warning from the medical community, based on directives from pharmaceutical lobbying. Too long to explain in detail here. See links.

                  Yes, I don't know much about it. I had a foot wart removed via freezing in the past - it was there for months and began to hurt, but never returned. I had them on my fingers around the same time but those were never painful and eventually disappeared.

                  As some others are saying I think it may be nutritional deficiencies too. At that time I wasn't eating much red meat and was only returning to milk and dairy, so I suspect that played a role.

                    selenium

                    This is why I said red meat: beef / ground beef / steak has high amounts of selenium. I read that oysters, fish, eggs, and dairy will also help meet selenium needs. That's the absolute core of bioenergetic eating! (eggs, dairy, beef, shellfish, etc.)

                        Not directly. 80% people are supposed to be a host for HPV. In dormancy until the immune system is weakened or you get heavily stressed on a long way or in a car accident e.g. Plausible but not sure. HPV is an opportunist virus, like most virus. So we have to make its life difficult and send it back under the radar, asleep (avoiding proliferation) or killed.
                        Usually warf disappears from itself, killed by the immune system. But not always... We can't explain everything.
                        NB: I read yesterday an article form a pharma doctor, saying honey and specially propolis could even attack many virus, even behind a biofilm. What an antibiotic isn't able to do, most of the time.
                        I got the usual black propolis (in alcohol), easy to find. There are 3 kinds of propolis:
                        Propolis is rich in polyphenols (including phenethyl ester of caffeic acid). There are different types, whose color and composition depend on the plants collected by the bees:
                        • Brown propolis from Europe (from poplar and birch trees);
                        • Green propolis from Brazil (from field rosemary);
                        • The rare red propolis from Cuba (from tropical species).
                        Mine is Ballot Flurin propolis (organic French black propolis extract).

                        Carole Minker advises to make your own honey 2.0!
                        The “Pollenhoney C” - for weakened immunity + fatigue: 100 g of honey + 20 g of bee pollen [bread]* + 20 g of rosehip powder (from a phyto-pharma). Divided into 3 doses.
                        Restriction: Not for long-term use by children. Ok as a cure.
                        Her tip: Take it with yoghurt. or use it orally or as a gargle: diluted in milk or water, or directly in the mouth, or even in yoghurt (it enhances the probiotic properties of yoghurt).
                        Bee pollen bread has to come from a short circuit, from a honey seller. So, not from amazon or a drugstore. Can be frozen.
                        Mind yoghurt if you suffer from hypoglycemia. High stimulation of insulin.
                        Ok when taken solely but not as a dessert, after a meal with carbs (bread, rice, pasta or cornflakes). OK when taken, after a fruit and a slice of cheese or ham. 2 fruits if one is low in sugar (blueberries, strawberries, clementine).
                        NB: Usually not a problem for breakfast (free place in liver for glycogen). 25-50 fructose is admitted in one day. To balance with glucose, said RP (+ potassium). Excess fructose is transformed into fat (in adipocytes).

                          maybe? It might be a stretch but I knew people in college and/or family members in that time period had warts on fingers or feet, and I suspect that that does tie back to moving away, life transitions, stress, etc. I haven't had any warts since 20-21. I think it's nutritional and hormonal too (in absence of any formal theory).

                          The one on my foot began to hurt, and would keep "coming back." There are definitely bacterial infections and stuff too, which can be treated. If it's fungal then maybe baths or daily environments are hosts for black mold or other mold?
