Banned from RP forum : Can you do better than this.
-
@sphenoid For that Sir you get a follow
-
@S-Holmes I don't know why RPF is still attracting 'New' members, for whom, without subscription, they are unable to post replies to anything they would like to, all they can do is 'Read' only.......Baffling really.
-
@sphenoid It's obvious isn't it? Reminds me of the old Twilight Zone episode where anyone who crosses Billy gets wished into the corn field.
-
@S-Holmes It's almost surreal, like it feels fake and no way that this could actually be organic. If you tasked someone with pretending to be a delusional psycho narcissistic con man you would not be able to do a better job than charlie. At first I thought it was funny but when he continued to double down again and again and ban anyone who spoke out against his opinion it became apparent that something was going on, either inside the body/mind of charlie or as a conspiracy whether it be political or financial.
@Not_James_Bond I'll do my best to keep pumping out anti charlie content

You know, I don't have a crystal ball.
I know you don't, thats the point you calling people morons with disdain because in your fantasy most people pay to support Charlie, when you have no evidence of that, no evidence of how many people pay to be on the forum, and no evidence that this contributes significantly to Charlie continuing his actions on the forum,
So free disdain based on a fantasy
RPF, as I said in previous a previous, has been a failure. Its main pillar is that optimal sugar metabolism is the key to health. Yet the site is vexed and stuck in not knowing how to make its members transform themselves from being poor sugar metabolizers into optimal sugar metabolizers. Ray Peat spoke only about the superiority of having optimal sugar metabolism, bit never spoke how to go about making that transformation. The site could have provided that a workable blueprint on how to go about that transformation, thus enabling many members towards the path to metabolic health. But it never got that going. There was a member named Cirion. He was piling on weight taking in lots of sugar because he believed sugar was good, but his body did not metabolize sugar well, and so he suddenly dropped out never to be heard from again. We don't really know if is still alive.
I feel charlie would be better off refocusing the website towards making the transformation to optimal sugar metabolism be a key goal before he embarked on his anti-peat mission.
Real question, how many years have you been on the "Ray peat" forum, have you reached your idea of an "optimal sugar metabolism", if you haven't, how do you know what it is?

Sounds like someone is upset they pay(paid) charlie some of their hard earned money.
Talking about Yerrag or me?

@Truth I could have sworn you had complained about paying for membership and not being refunded after being banned some time ago, I may have misremembered. Regardless, your tone and defense of people who are still paying for the RPF comes across as someone who is trying to defend their own actions. Not sure why you would feel compelled to defend anyone who is giving charlie money at this point, no matter what state they are in.
-
@sphenoid Exactly!, why the butt hurt.............
-
@sphenoid Calling people morons because they pay for the "Ray peat" forum,(based on fantaisy assumtions for Yerrag), when it's caused for some of them by the desire to get better, because they're in sub-optimal health and/or ill, that they've heard about Raypeat on the internet and that they haven't necessarily been exposed to all of Charlie's actions whether on twitter, Reddit, on this forum or on the RPF,
Is a low energy action, it is illegitimate disdain, and this degree of illegitimate disdain is enough for some people who could benefit from this forum, to not to participate
-
@Not_James_Bond you seems butthurt
-
@Luke I have similar thoughts.
It seems to be a controlled demolition.
That way, Ray Peat won't be a martyr. No one can say, "the feds shut him down."
No. They'll conclude that he was just a lightweight and debunked.The confusion throws people into the hands of authority. If every nutjob out there has an opinion, isn't it wiser to just listen the Doctor?"
-
@Truth Illegitimate according to who? You? If someone wants to get better with their health and can't see the blatantly manic state the sole owner and admin is in and yet they still pay money simply to gaze at one-sided conversations where said owner and admin promotes his lifestyle and supplements unopposed then they are hopeless morons. It's sub-optimal (your favorite word) to bleed a precious charge and waste energy feeling sorry for them when they are the type to gobble up any propaganda shoved their way and will do whatever they are told as long as it appears to come from a perceived authority. At a certain point if someone can't make basic decisions like not walking into an obvious trap then there is no helping them and people calling them mean names is the least of their worries.
As far as I'm concerned it's a low-energy state to not recognize that these types of people are easily gaslit and potentially dangerous for your own health. I thought this was apparent after the last few years when most of the populace was coerced into injecting themselves with an experimental gene therapy and stood idly by or even supported while those who didn't lost their jobs and were ostracized from society.

@sphenoid
Indeed. Herd mentality is a dangerous thing. -
@sphenoid In the case of Yerrag's argument, it is factually illegitimate, when he says himself that he considers people who pay their membership are morons if they do it to support Charlie, and that he has no evidence on the number of people who pay to support Charlie rather than their personal interest, that he has no evidence of the number of people who pay, no evidence of whether this allows Charlie to continue his actions on the "Ray peat" forum.
According to you, if we think that people have certain actions that are sub-optimal and/or lack intelligence, then they are morons and we can call them morons?

@Truth Would love to hear what your idea of high energy is, exactly so we can all learn
-
@Truth What are you even trying to argue or say at this point? It's obviously an opinion for anyone to think that certain behaviors from people constitute calling them morons or any other name for that matter. What else would you want us to do? Do you need peer review research papers on how they are, indeed, morons? Do we need to be able to read their minds or be able to see all of their actions before coming to such a conclusion? Once again this is about calling someone a name over the internet.
Also, who cares how many people are actually paying, whether it be one or one hundred, either way they are morons.
-
@sphenoid Ok moron
