could barely eat anything yesterday. only had few protein shake and one meal at night. less sleep last night.

feel hypothyroid today from this. feet are pale and cold, hand r fine tho. nausea and low appetite again.

i feel like shit in morning, lazy. but then towards night i become energetic, cant sleep.

visiting doctor soon, he gave me form for bloodwork. i told him bout same problem, will update results soon. will request cyproheptadine and try possible gut cleanse soon with carrot salad, activated charcoal.

@the-MOUSE circadian rhythm out of whack perhaps, get plenty of (ideally) natural light in the morning, less artificial light in the evening.

Ray stated that cortisol rises overnight and that cortisol reduction is most important in the morning, you may benefit from aspirin before bed and getting sunlight as soon as possible in the mornings

I had very similar symptoms from consuming a low-quality gelatin powder. After eating breakfest I would get nausea and could faintly taste the gelatin on my breath. Any chance you have consumed something toxic? When sleeping toxins can be liberated, as in the case of Ray and the mexican pesticides.

@the-MOUSE congested liver, in part due to your intake of proteine powder. It creates steatosis in many people.

Discontinue the protein powder and flush your liver once a week with high dose olive oil and lemon juice.

It’s weird cortisol can make people hungry. But cortisol is highest in the AM and people commonly have no appetite in the AM sometimes to the point of being nauseated at the idea of breakfast. Maybe it’s high adrenaline that’s really suppressing appetite.

Either way if you’re low thyroid u won’t be storing much liver glycogen. And through the night u really start digging into the stress hormones and fat oxidation making for an unpleasant feeling morning

@the-MOUSE if you are hypothyroid you won't be sleeping well and probably have digestive problems like reverse peristalsis that could result in nausea when you wake up.

when you wake up your blood sugar has fallen several times during the night and you have suffered high adrenaline and cortisol to bring it up, and this is a stress reaction. The result can be feeling crummy and nausea in the morning.

You need to eat foods that support good blood sugar during sleep.
