@SexyPizza I think just PG and VitE would work for most things. Maybe if your vitamin E oil is too thick you could add some oleic acid to thin it out, but other then that you should be good.

Or you could try oleic acid (OA) + PG + Limonene. But I generally don't see the need of adding two lipid-based solvents together. That's just my 2 cents, I'm very far from an expert in this regard. @brightside seems far more knowledgeable in this area. He seems to be well versed in making emulsions, which would enhance the penetration of lipid-based solutions even more than free base.

Which ever way you decide, these solutions will be extremely "nonvolatile." So you're looking at something that will have a more slow, but continuous, absorption rate. Which I think is probably good, especially for people who only want to dose one time per day. The only downside is it will take a while to dry on skin.

So I would give application site at least 30 minutes of air time to dry before putting on a shirt or pants. And if you're pressed for time and can't wait that long, you could always gently wrap the application site in plastic wrap before putting clothes on over it.
