Hey, can somebody help me analyze my blood test ?

I'm surprised that my thyroid is looking normal since I've had a whole-body x-ray when I was a teenager and a few dental x-rays

@Grothendieck Hi, it looks pretty good, but in detail...

        • Ray said that TSH should equal 1 or even be slightly less... therefore your is almost optimal
        • you have Prolactin at 11 - desired value for men is about 5
        • Cortisol looks good, cholesterol too

You can check your thyroid health (for comparison) also by measuring temperature and pulse https://www.functionalps.com/blog/2012/03/25/ray-peat-phd-on-thyroid-temperature-pulse-and-tsh/

BTW it's just my observation, not medical advice...

@Kvirion Ty for your response, I've heard that to lower your TSH, you need to focus on boosting thyroid function, am I right ?

          So my prolactin
is kinda high, any idea on how to lower it naturally ?

Also, how can I convert more T4 into T3? I'm eating two brazilians nuts everyday to get selenium as Ray Peat suggested

Yes, there is a feedback loop as explained in wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thyroid-stimulating_hormone

              So my prolactin

There is a good (peaty) article about it https://testonation.com/2017/08/30/lower-prolactin-for-men/

Also, how can I convert more T4 into T3? I'm eating two brazilians nuts everyday to get selenium as Ray Peat suggested

For a better conversion of T4 into T3 you need carbohydrates/sugar and selenium. BTW I'm not a fan of Brazilian nuts - they contain PUFAs and methionine... Is better to eat beef (+ gelatin) or supplement selenium...

In general, your lab results look pretty decent. Therefore, I wouldn't trouble too much. Just follow Ray Peat's principles e.g. have a stimulating life, a lot of sunshine, good sleep, balanced stress, minimize/deplete PUFAs, and assure proper nutrition, etc. and all should be good. Perceive, Think, Act...

Not sure how much you know about them, but videos like that may be a good start https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WqmksTna7Q8
