So far the cheapest (most mg per euro) D and K2 sources I've found are
Sunday Natural MCT oil D3 5000IU 1000 drop dropper (500 000IU per euro)
      and
Life Extension mega vitamin K2 from iherb (50mg per eur)

For comparison Lark is 34mg/€ for the 250 dollar one
      Idealabs Kuinone 24mg/€
      Idealabs Calcirol (D3) is 9600IU/€

@LucH I don't usually take cyproheptadine everyday as a supplement.

I like to have it on hand if I get some stomach bug or something, it's pretty useful for that.

I also like to take it when I am stressed or worn out and need to get good sleep. Sometimes I take it for a few days and feel like it has a restorative effect.

OK then, as long you're conscious not to take it on a regularly base. Avoid hard break / stop.
If accustomed => Serotonin receptors could become less sensitive (antagonistic action on 5-HT2A receptor).
            Explanation:
SSRIs can induce serotonin weakness elsewhere in the body, including in the platelets. While SSRIs primarily target serotonin reuptake transporters in the brain, they also affect these transporters in other tissues like platelets, leading to decreased serotonin storage and potential functional changes.

@AL There sure is a lot of connections to the original manufacturer.... This is Page 1 and 2 of searching "Tiromel" on google images. These are all vendors, from all over the world.

                  clipboard.png
                  clipboard (3).png

The only people that legally have access to the original manufacturer are companies that stock medicine to sell to pharmacies. Pharmacies then proceed to resell them on the black market.

It is impossible for all these resellers, all over the globe to have access to this pharmaceutical, and then proceed to sell it for $20.

Do you think Tiromel bought directly from a proper pharmacy in Turkey would be legit?

Turkey is outside the common Market (euro). No hormone is legal.
And you need a prescription form from your doctor (in the package) not to have problem with the customs, when coming from Europe.
Since 2024 the control has been re-enforced. First time, destroyed. Second time, punished (money).

@LucH thank you for replying, i think i may have been misunderstood; i meant whether the actual contents of the T3 would be “real” and “good” quality if purchased directly from an official pharmacy in Turkey - i guess/hope it would be 🤷‍♂️
Just so much talk of there being “dodgy” versions etc., got me a little paranoid I guess.

@LucH I did not know this about cypro; I’ve been using it recently and it’s the best thing I’ve used to stop stress - better than aspirin, phosphatidylserine or even lots of sugar - feel so chilled. Coupled with some caffeine and I feel on top of the world, no caffeine jitters etc.

@Ismail I have no idea at this point… I just go with the other sources of T3 in Europe or IdeaLabs

@Luke Do you get enough salt, calcium and sugar to reduce your adrenaline? T3 gets suppressed by adrenaline. I also have those sudden adrenaline spikes if I do hard mental work, but only if I skipped out on either of those three.

Been taking cytomed t3 (deusmedical) and my temps have gone down. Is that good or bad? Kind of confused.

@heyman depends, how do you feel ?
Do you have any other hypo symptoms ?
Or do you feel better in general?

If stress hormones are high small amounts of thyroid might not be enough to raise temps, but at least to lower stress hormones .

                                      Dare to think.

Yes, I get lots of all of them. Got even more when I took T3 because I knew that could happen. It wasn't possible for me to eat even more and the T3 dose was low.

I tried some NDT two or three years ago. When I started with that I felt more sleepy and a bit low energy, but nothing too serious. With this product, the stress reaction was so intense that I thought about suicide, not going to lie. And I never took more than 6 mcg T3 a day. It wasn't a temporary adrenaline rush, but almost constant despair for mutliple days.

By the way, I took the same product (from deusmedical) that @heyman mentioned in the post above. Maybe the product is just bad. I'm not sure. Although I felt some signs that it's real thyroid.

I suspect that my entire organism is badly impaired from some dumb stuff I have done to myself in the past, with poor liver function and chronically high stress levels for years. I read your thread on hypothyroidism and it's a good read. I'll have to go back to the basics and try to rebuild myself like Phoenix from the ashes before I try more supplements (unless I know they are not harmful to me).

I've never been a big party attender, but I never went to a party where I didn't probably offend most of the people there by talking about what I was interested in. (Ray Peat)
