Help with EU Sources
-
I'm gonna put more stuff in here soon, but the idea is to just have whatever sources we know of for important things in this thread, for people in the EU.
Your experience may differ depending on your country's customs, and this thread should also be a place to discuss such things.
I'll start with these but I have more:
-
Thyroid tiromel and bitiron (I prefer cynomel and -plus though I think)
-
Magnesium Bisglycinate NL
In Spain I ordered this one -
Email kenogen@gmail.com to buy Progest-E and support Ray's widow as well as have some certainty you're getting a genuine product made according to Ray's recipe
-
-
https://www.balancedbodymind.com/shop UK seller of Progest-E (and some other Peat-ish stuff), I had a successful delivery to EU.
-
@CO3 For cascara, you can just email Farmalabor directly and wire transfer the money and then they'll send you the product. At least that's how I did it a few years ago.
For people in Germany, the brand Edubily has a few good products with few or no additives, like a decent B complex or vitamin D3&K in MCT oil. IIRC, the founders of the company are familiar with Ray Peat and the importance of metabolism.
-
@DonkeyDude I mentioned the worldwide seller for Progest-E right there in the OP! I've heard people get old improperly stored bottles of Progest-E, that are pale in color when they get them, when they order through middlemen.
-
@Melora The Vitamin D I posted does not contain MCT oil, a known irritant, and in terms of dose-price relation is the best option on the market until someone shows me otherwise. Another factor is that the olive oil is good.
-
@CO3 Wait, MCT oil is a known irritant? How?
-
@Inzil Coconut oil is better! no reason to use a more expensive derivative of it
-
@CO3 I do use coconut oil. But I gave a bottle of MCT oil to my brother and I am wondering about what you said, it being "an irritant".
-
@Inzil It irritates the intestines.
-
@CO3 Yeah, I prefer olive oil myself, but I don't have issues with small amounts of MCT oil and just wanted to give an example of a product I have used myself.
-
@Melora Thank you! That's what the thread's for! Sorry if I was a bit short
-
@CO3 Still, a reliable middleman in the UK might be an option to consider if you live in the EU.
-
@DonkeyDude Why?

@DonkeyDude Why?
- There's probably less chance of the package being interdicted by customs, both because UK has only recently left the EU and because there's much more cross-border trade than with the US. I believe in most EU countries progesterone is prescription-only.
- Delivery (and payment) is likely cheaper and quicker.
- (non-EU specific) It's way easier to order from an online store than through e-mail. There's a reason there's several middlemen selling Progest-E even in the US itself.
-
@DonkeyDude I've ordered from Katherine DOZENS of times. It makes no sense what you're saying.
'customs can be a problem so just make it go through two different zones.'.
completely untrue. I have heard firsthand accounts of people getting a degraded product from resellers. Buy from Ray's widow! With DHL Express there's ime a 100% succes rate.
What you said about progesterone being a controlled substance is also wrong.
-
@CO3 So all of it is wrong. with DHL Express I get it so fast it's unbelievable. Sometimes it's the same week.

I can't speak to any other things you say, but I live in the EU and this is clearly untrue and I'm not sure why you speak about it with such confidence. Did you actually study the pharmaceutical laws of all the twenty-some EU jurisdictions before typing the above statement?
Where I live it's definitely illegal to purchase without a prescription - not a controlled substance like, say, heroin (and I haven't said it is) where mere possession is illegal, but it will definitely be stopped if you don't have a prescription. Thus the importance of avoiding customs attention. If this is not the case where you live, I'm very happy for you, but if the thread is supposed to be EU-wide there should be options for people who do need to take local laws into account.
