How to increase ghrelin sensitivity?
-
After hearing so many people talk about how Mk-677 makes them hungry, I spent 100+ bucks and waited several weeks for delivery to get my hands on some in hopes of stimulating my extremely low appetite.
After taking 12.5mg for a week straight and then a few days of 25mg, it appears that I'm part of the non-responders; it gives me no increase in appetite whatsoever, just pimples all over my face...
I've made a bunch of posts on different sites asking someone to explain the actual process behind this: Why some people feel ravenous after the first dose and others (like me) never feel any effect at all?
No one could give me an actual precise answer.....Some said it's genetic or may be based on ghrelin sensitivity. Since that's all I have to go off right now, I am looking for tips to increase ghrelin sensitivity to see if that could result in a better appetite stimulation response.
[ And yes, I have already tried weed and cypro for my appetite
Weed stimulates it actually, but only slightly. I am trying 200mg of thiamine daily right now too, but I just started so can't say anything about that yet ]

@Peater0921 How long have you been avoiding Plant Oils for?

Improve your thyroid and dopaminergic tone and you will see how hungry you will be.
Cyproheptadine with weed is great short term but will increase your prolactin in the long run.
You will have better results with Thiamine, as well as nutrients improving the conversion of T4 to T3, especially Selenium as well as some bioavailable Magnesium to compensate for the overstimulation of the two. They are very affordable and are extremly good at improving overall energy levels, the more energy levels you have, the better your digestion and appetite will be.

@Appa I've been supplementing with thyroid and thiamine for some time and it helps me stabilize my weight, but neither really gives me the appetite boost I need to get into a caloric surplus, unfortunately. Just barely managing to maintain
