    Temp after breakfast lower than upon waking

      @happyhanneke it goes to 95.5? Temp may drop a little bit after breakfast bc the stress hormones drop but 2 degrees is alarming. Where are you at after lunch?

        I have not measured that. I just started checking it. It's not lower everyday. Just some days.
        I actually feel very good and am healthy so I don't want to be alarmed! 🙂

            @happyhanneke Ray suggested checking temp upon waking, after breakfast and midday temp. Compile them for at least two weeks

              2 eggs from my own chickens who free range, a small potato, fat free greek yogurt with honey.
              I had orange juice about 30 minutes before that.

                @happyhanneke the only thing in there that I think would cause an issue is the starch from the potato. Are you sure you aren't reacting to it?

                Your temp lowering after a meal is a sign that you may have eaten something that is bothering you. Sometimes, if you are hypothyroid, that will happen no matter what you eat.

                Have you noticed reacting badly to starch in the past? Are you reacting to everything? (low temps after all meals)

                Also, do you take thyroid?

                  Digestion diverts blood flow to major organs from extremities. This is the “why am I cold during the warmest part of the day” thing.

                    First make use you use the right thermometer. When I have my course with Ray, he specify to me that’s is important to let the thermometer in your mouth for a minimum of 5 min, even with an electronic one.
                    Secondly, you have to wait 30 min after breakfast to take your temperature again. What your pulse rate?
                    Be sure that you well balance macros (prot,carbs and fat) and using salt enough.

                    And be patient

                      @Kinesyne Thank you. Good advice. Plus I'm going to do this for a while and record it before making any conclusions. My heart rate is between 70-80 during the day.
                      I use plenty of salt! I buy Redmond kosher salt.

                        @secondkelping Thanks. I am going to record for a few weeks before drawing any conclusions. This morning my temp was 98 after breakfast so very different. But I ate the same.
                        I am good with potatoes. I love them too.

                          It's possible that it's adrenaline/cortisol increasing your temperature while you're fasting overnight and then when you finally eat food they are lowered. How does your pulse change?
