      Meaning, you cannot find any form of Boron that doesn't include the additional minerals, or were you specifically searching for CaFB?

          When I look up calcium fructoborate and the branded one. I can find other boron supplements though.

            Raisins are pretty good sources of boron averaging about 2mg/100mg. If you can find low PUFA ,sun dried ones. Should be good !

            Raisins also have benefits on intestines, increasing transit speed and SCFA in the stool.
            125g raisins/day decreased the transit time from 42h to 28h! That's a huge benefit.
            I notice lessened constipation from raisins as well.

              Boron lowers PTH and cortisol, while increasing vitamin D and osteocalcin in this animal study.
              Osteocalcin is anabolic and androgenic . Just do quick search on it , it has some interesting pro-metabolic properties.

                This is probably the best post on boron (by Travis) .
                I agree with the hypothesis that arthritis might be of fungal origin and that borons main effect is anti-fungal. Not only that it also protects against fungal toxins like aflatoxin (https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0946672X23000032)
                It's wild that Travis took gram -amounts of boron. It is inherently non toxic , apparently less toxic than salt.

                  Travis also spoke about boron as a 'natural fluoride's antidote' :

                    Indeed, to second @noseleather borax 'for cleaning' is good stuff. (modulo 'slime making' probably .lol)

                    Anecdotally, I add Borax powder to wash my linens (and light-colored clothes). This is my only 'supplement' with Borax. Idealabs hair tests showed a good load of boron. This was my only change in boron consumption. (I used to and I do eat quite a bit of raisins too.)

                        I'm considering a persistent, covert, non-bloodborn fungal tissue colonization.

                        Unhelpful critics will scream that there's no such thing and that fungal infections are either superficial or systemic and life-threatening acutely critical with fungemia etc but I've grown intolerant to any such soft-pedalling obfuscation.

                        Clearly the bone-degradation dear Travis had written about is a chronic progression.

                        There are substantiating studies on periprosthetic Candida spp. infections but otherwise it's so wide a field, so overflooded with make-belief narratives and the search functions so poor that I cannot get hold of more tangible findings.
                        It's likely that fungal infections can persists below the surface in the enteric tissues and beyond in joints and other organs. And that, irrespective of the actual location, the latter can be harmed in a course of cross-reactive immune response as shown by many other pathogens.

                        I've therefore spiked last night's porridge with 2grams of borax with the intention of strong luminal distribution along the GI system.
                        And I've started with 5grams of borax per liter for my drinking water today. Of which I've already drunk two thirds. So I may prepare a second liter with the same ratio later on and use this exclusively.
                        If there's any notable improvement I shall throw in a course of itraconazole on top.

                        I had first dabbled with borax five long years ago. I had noticed that going beyond 20-30mg elemental boron per intake was and remained really uncomfortable. Giving strong headaches. Giving dull joint pains. Eventually, my use has faded because of such much else going on.
                        Had been on very intensive and extensive antibiotic regimens recently which also impacted (fingers crossed it stays) the recurring events of night sweats and arthralgia.
                        The borax hits me differently now. No particular headaches or joint reactions yet!
