Vitamin D supplementation with fatty liver?

Hard to get a clear answer on this thought id try here. Can i supplement vitamin D if i have fatty liver? ive read that the supplements can deposit in the liver and i dont want to worsen my liver condition. unfortunately i cant get sun regularly and suspect im low
