Are beards ACTUALLY genetic?

But what abt the mfs who cant grow a beard? Yea sure minoxidil exists
But are beards truly genetic? Or is it some sort of disbiosis happening?

Definitely not. Until the age of 25, I haven’t been able to grow much of a beard.
After I started lifting and then peating, and DHT maxxing, I’ve been able to grow a much thicker beard than before. But this took 5+ years.
Now I’m able to grow a nice beard, moderately thick and dense except around the cheekbones, where it’s less dense.
