do you have lunula on nails?
-
Never had them except on thumbs
-
@toiletking ye idk if its good or bad trait. maybe high co2, anion gap too
-
@the-MOUSE do you know what they're made out of? Mineral deposits or sth?
-
-
I only have them on thumbs but my nails are very pink.
-
Very small in eight fingers in total. Few people are healthy enough to have good sized lunulae these days.
-
Ray said they disappear for a lot of people as their metabolism heals. I'm sure I used to have them, now I don't except on my thumb
-
@CO3 Are you on thyroid? Ray said that his disapprared on thyroid. Due to this, I wouldn't take it as a sign of the metabolism healing, but rather as the med imblancing the body further. Traditionally and universally, lunulae have been seen as a marker of health.
-
@TheSir oh i must be on the wrong forum! apologies
-
@CO3 I don't get it. Are you on thyroid or not? Why would you think your metabolism has healed when you are depending on meds to keep it running?
-
@TheSir "how can you be healthy if you are doing things to stay healthy"
i just checked btw this is a forum to discuss Ray Peat's ideas! idk maybe check out some primal raw meat forum. I heard Sv3rige had a telegram
-
@CO3 What you have is a potentially unjustified belief in the healthiness of your approach. Discussing this is fairly on-topic, and your refusal to do so is far more anti-Peat than anything else written in this thread so far. If NDT was giving you wrinkles or white hair, would you still be able to justify your denialism with fantastic abstractions? Absence of lunulae is no different.
