This can be in ice cream machine or just frozen in a container. I think it comes out better in an ice cream machine.

      Makes 1 quart

Full fat heavy cream 170 gms
      Whole Milk 220 gms
      Fine Sugar 100 gms
      2 tsps. Pure vanilla extract
This recipe doesnโ€™t call for it, but you can probably add 2 egg yolks if you want.
It is very creamy without the eggs anyway.

In med bowl, whisk to combine milk and sugar until sugar is dissolved.
Stir in heavy cream and vanilla. Put mixture in ice cream machine for 45 minutes. The result in the photo. Enjoy.

Lovely. I LOVED when I made ice cream with rum and raisins. It was only a small amount of rum lol. Plus I think it was Jamaican which may have a significant amount of policosanols.

I really want to try a coffee ice cream. Could be great as a desert.

Yes, it can be done with two stainless steel bowls, some salt to help the one containing ice to stick to the one containing the ice cream, and a good amount of time. It's called Philadelphia ice cream.

Yes, you probably could I suppose, if you whip the cream and then freeze it.

Coffee sounds like a plan ๐Ÿ‘

I did a variation on the vanilla by adding wild blueberries mixed with a couple of teaspoons of lemon juice. Came out great!

In fact, I just had a dish for lunch, it was so good ๐Ÿ˜‹ Not something I usually do, but I was experiencing fresh blueberry ice cream lust.
