Has Ray ever spoken on eating disorders like anorexia, bulimia for example? What would be an explanation for it that alligns with his beliefs. In middle school and highschool i suffered from body dysmorphia and anorexia. I have since recovered and am at a healthy weight. After learning about nutrition and bioenergetics i understood how stupid it is to starve yourself like that but what is the biological explanation for why i thought it was okay?

dont think he's ever spoken or written about disordered eating. you could potentially extend the bioenergetic view of addiction to anorexia tho. generally, mental disorders are described as some sort of disturbance of the endocrine system originating from potentially epigenetic malnutrition. probably more useful to view anorexia in a societal context

          Hi,
          I made a search with Lucky's pendulum 😉
Here is a clue (in 50 % of the cases).

          1. Mood disorder induced by low levels of progesterone affects weight loss or gain.
The fault may lie in enzymes that convert progesterone into allo, leading to lower levels of the metabolite, which adversely impact on mood disorders.
+ Low level of thyroid hormones

          2. Women at opposite extremes of the weight spectrum have low levels of the neuroactive steroid allopregnanolone, according to new research published in the journal Neuropsychopharmacology.

Note: This question remains: Which one comes first: Low levels of hormones in neurotransmission due to a lack or an excess of nutrients (or a pathology), or a hormonal unbalance, probably due to irregular metabolism of the thyroid.
