T3 therapy seems to not be working despite (reasonable?) diet. Since I started T3 monotherapy, total cholesterol has not dropped, basal temp has not risen (still around low 96s). Afternoon temp is usually mid-high 97s. Pulse has risen to ~80 bpm resting.

Ideas on further bloodwork to illuminate what's going on here?

      Pre thyroid therapy bloodwork:
      Total cholesterol: 247 mg/dL
      HDL: 43 mg/dL
      Triglycerides: 136 mg/dL
      LDL: 177 mg/dL
      PTH: 32 pg/ml
      Prolactin: 7.3 ng/ml
      TSH: 2.44

1 mo on T3 monotherapy bloodwork:
1 cynomel pill (25 mcg), taken 6.25 mcg/dose throughout the day with food

      Total cholesterol: 258 mg/dL
      HDL: 37 mg/dL
      Triglycerides: 205 mg/dL
      LDL: 182 mg/dL
      PTH: 23 pg/ml
      Prolactin: 9.9 ng/ml
      TSH: 0.075

Diet: Few qts of low fat milk/day, fruits, honey, coffee as desired. Few eggs/day, and a few tins of oysters/wk. Small amount of gelatin daily (1 tbsp w warm milk in evening)

Maybe you got more appetite and you started eating more fructose?
Maybe you are adapted to cold stress and forget to wear clothes to increase temp?
Maybe you expect being warm in 20 C or 68 F in a T Shirt? Which is hardly possible.
