How To Get The Most Accurate Body-Temp reading's possible?

If I sleep with lots of blankets: will that confound my morning temp check? And what if I'm sitting for lunch in the sun/in windy weather? How do I create an enviroment where I can be 100% my thermometer is right? I'm using a forehead thermometer.
